The Hui ʻOhi Manu is a collection of CWG members who, through manu (birds), maintain relationships with Papahānaumokuākea in our ʻōiwi religious and artistic practices.
Partner agencies share when manu are available, and the CWG distributes the manu for cultural practice based on a list of requests. For example, manu are used by Native Hawaiians for traditional tattooing, featherwork in lei or kahili, or religious practices.
